Bio

Garrett has a diverse coaching background working with athletes across various levels. He has coached athletes at Division I and III levels as well as the high school level. Garrett’s collegiate coaching experience includes Augsburg College, the University of Minnesota, and Hamline University. His high school coaching experience includes St. Louis Park, St. Agnes, and Hopkins High School. While at Hamline Garrett co-taught a general fitness class, teaching students principles and methods to improve their health and fitness.

Garrett has been the Head Coach for St. Louis Park’s Junior Legion Baseball Program, as well as, an Assistant Coach for St. Agnes High School Baseball Program. He has previously work at FHIT Baseball’s Minnesota Advancement Program as both a baseball instructor and a strength coach. He got his start coaching baseball with Hopkins Babe Ruth Baseball Association in 2010.

Garrett has four varsity letters from playing baseball at Hamline University and was a part of the schools first ever MIAC Conference Championship team in 2011. Garrett has had the opportunity to work with some of the best coaches in the country including Eric Cressey and his staff at Cressey Sports Performance in Massachusetts, Cal Deitz and Sara Wiley of the University of Minnesota to name a few.
